Modeled after an antique ring from 1860, the band of 10K yellow gold is decorated with an abstract scroll print all the way around, and the bow on the ring's face is from rescued turquoise cabochons from antique Indian jewelry that's destined for the smelter. Handmade in Portland, Oregon.
Formally trained as a theatrical costumer and samplemaker in the fashion industry, Erica Weiner started designing and making jewelry out of her Lower East Side apartment in 2005 with an emphasis on craftsmanship and affordability. Since 2007 Erica and co-founder Lindsay Salmon have traveled around the country, searching out interesting materials to transform into new jewelry using vintage, dead stock and re-purposed materials.
