Born near the Brazilian city of São Paulo but based between Brooklyn and L.A., Lívia Torres has transported her style across continents. As one of the original founders and creative director of Brazilian label Amonstro, Torres along with Helena Pimenta devised collections and built the brand for eight years in her native country. On moving to the States, she has worked as a stylist and creative producer while pursuing her MBA at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. In January 2015, Torres launched her own accessories label, Pakera Pakera, which combines fun Latin flair with a saucy yet serious Brooklyn attitude. Each piece is limited edition, handmade, and just a little bit flirty.
