Aveta is inspired by objects of Antiquity, stories of old, and the talismanic powers of wearing jewelry. Aveta aims for her work to bring a sense of magic and delight to the wearer. Aveta believes that jewelry should be slightly imperfect, almost as if it’s already being reclaimed back to the earth. Her work is a balance between ancient and futuristic, looking to the past for inspiration yet thinking how to create a new, more authentic future. Aveta Studio is designed and handcrafted by Ashley Volbeda in her NYC studio.
